An effective teleseminar can either make or break the sales of a product, as well as the potential income of the person selling the product. There are a few key areas to focus on in order to take your great idea from teleseminar to transaction.

First, you must have the right marketing in place. There are many ways that you can spread the word about your teleseminar, but the biggest thing is that you have to get the word into the hands of the right people. Who are these right people you might ask? It doesn’t always have to be the end user of the product although many times it is. A key target to market to is those who will help spread the word.

Word of mouth advertising is the most effective form of marketing out there. Think about how many times you went and saw a movie just because one of your friends said it was good. While many people make sure to market to the people who would use the product, don’t leave the people out who will help you by running their mouth about your product.

After your marketing is done, the atmosphere must be set. Realize that there are going to be experts and novices at your teleseminar. The trick is to make your teleseminar feel informative for everyone without making some feel talked down to or others just talked at. Your atmosphere will have a lot to do with how well your product sells after your teleseminar. If the atmosphere was right, everyone will be on board with the excitement and your product will roll like it was the first wheel invented.

Once you have gotten through the bulk of your teleseminar, marketed to the right people and created the perfect atmosphere, unlike the job everyone just got out of, you must answer some questions and promote your product. This can be done by a direct promote, or using the questions and answers to redirect back to the topic of the product.

Finally, after you have done everything you can to make your teleseminar effective, you can’t forget to make it super simple for people to actually purchase the item. Give them different options to check out and let them know if there are any special promotions. By making their checkout simple and offering them special deals for being at the teleseminar, you can guarantee that the excitement levels will be high and that you just turned your product from teleseminar to transaction.

" />There are a great many ways to connect to other people nowadays and using technology to bridge the gap across states, countries and even continents is incredibly easy. Two ways to do this are with Teleseminars and Webinars. Simply put, these are very economical ways to have a meeting, give a class or make a presentation without ever leaving your home or work.

Both of these require one of two things – the first is a phone and the second is a computer with an Internet connection and a web cam. As for the telephone and the computer, nearly everyone has those and web cams are very inexpensive to purchase.

A Teleseminar is the lower tech of the two and its primary vehicle is the telephone. A meeting is set up for a certain time at a certain phone number. All of the parties involved call this number and connect to the meeting. At this point the meeting can either be a recorded message for everyone or an actual conference call done live where all can eventually participate. Teleseminars can be accessed via a landline phone, a cell phone or even Internet based phones, such as Skype.

A Webinar is the same thing, more or less; however, it takes place via computers and the Internet. The presenter and main guests need both a web cam and a microphone, so they can be seen by the participants. Everyone else can view the webinar through their computer using Windows Media Player or other similar applications or they can simply listen through their computer. One of the most common programs used for this type of thing is NetMeeting, which comes with most versions of Windows. Of course, you can also hold and participate in a webinar with a Macintosh computer as well as a PC.

Teleseminars are all about providing value to the participants along with making money for the person running theteleseminar. Here are 10 ways to use a teleseminar to increase your profits:

• Sell the digital audio recording or transcript of the teleseminar as a downloadable file.

• Sell the physical audio recording or transcript of the teleseminar as a physical product mailed on a CD to the buyer.

• Sell the teleseminar as a series – combine several related teleseminars into a package and sell them as a series.

• Sell the series individually – take the series and make them available on an individual basis.

• Affiliate promotions – connect your seminar to an affiliate website so you can make money through commissions as well.

• $1 Trial Offers – with this method, you let people sample your seminars from a monthly service for $1 for the first week. If they decide to join your service, they can receive a new teleseminar from an automatic monthly membership at a set fee, as long as they wish, until they cancel the account.

• Make an e-book based on how you did your seminars and sell the e-book online.

• Make your e-book available at a discount to people who have taken your seminars.

• Sell the seminar and transcript to those attending your seminars at a reduced rate. You still make great profit at half price and they feel they are getting a great deal.

• In addition to your teleseminars in your chosen niche, you can create one, using your own experience, as a way to teach other people how to give a teleseminar. Include a written transcript with the audio recording.

By making your information available as a download, you are able to promote your teleseminar to the people who can make the call as well as those who would prefer to read the information later.
